Field log · Selected entries 2025–2026
A field log is what an electrician would call a job book. We sanitize each entry — names off, addresses generalized — and publish it because if you're going to hire us, you should be able to see the work.
Entries are sorted newest-first. Each is a finished job — the load calculations, the parts, the route, the surprises. Customer names appear only with explicit signoff; the towns and counties are real.
Off-grid retrofit on a 1968 hill farm without grid service. Replaced a worn-out 6 kW genset with a continuous-baseload Pelton runner cut from the brook above the house, paired with 14 kWh LFP and a 4.4 kW Outback Radian inverter.
1851 cape-style farmhouse, six previous re-feeds. Pulled NM-B through plaster cavities without opening more than the closet back; AFCI changeout on a Square D QO-Plug-on-Neutral; three two-way switches restored to function.
New 4×14 oil-fired evaporator on an existing sugarhouse. Three-phase 240V to vacuum, hood fans, RO booster, head-tank float, perimeter heat-trace. 1,800 taps growing to 3,500 over two seasons.
52-cow tie-stall barn. 320A meter base & main, equipotential plane re-bonded, milk-house GFCI to NEC 547. Stray-voltage baseline at 0.18 V before; 0.09 V after.
